Gas to undergo preliminary processing on an offshore central processing facility (CPF) to remove water and raw liquids, including the greater part of the condensate. Condensate pumped to the interlinked floating production, storage, and offtake facility (FPSO) with hydrocarbon processing and monoethylene glycol (MEG) regeneration capabilities. The FPSO will have a condensate storage capacity of more than 1,000,000 barrels (approx. 137 000 m3) and will transfer the condensate to tankers for export to overseas markets. The gas will be transferred from the CPF via an 889-km-long gas export pipeline (GEP) to an onshore processing plant at Bladin Point in Darwin.

Kaombo development consists of six fields over 800 km2. There are 59 wells planned and two FPSO units (that were converted from Very Large Crude Carriers).
Total operates Block 32 with a 30% participating interest, along with Sonangol P&P (30%), Sonangol Sinopec International 32 Limited (20%), Esso Exploration & Production Angola (Overseas) Limited (15%) and Galp Energia Overseas Block 32 B.V. (5%). (Source: Total company information, accessed 2020-01-04)
The field has been developed by Total Upstream Nigeria (24%) in partnership with CNOOC (45%), Sapetro (15%) and Petrobras (16%). 5 wells in field. The Egina oil field is located approximately 150km off the coast of Nigeria in the Gulf of Guinea, at a water depth of around 1,600m. Located roughly 20km away from Akpo field, Egina field lies within oil mining lease block (OML) 130 and covers an area of approximately 500 square miles. Starting date: 2024
Location: Finima, Bonny Island, Nigeria
Final investment approval for the 8 million tonne per annum train 7 at Bonny was agreed december 2019. On completion the seventh train is expected to boost total production to 30 million tonnes per year. The 7th train project is expected to comprise: a liquefaction unit, 84200m2 storage tank, 36000m2 condensate tanks and 3 nr gas turbine generators (source: nsenergy published 2019-09-13, accessed 2020-01-03).
The project is owned and operated by Nigeria LNG – a joint venture between Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) 49%, Shell Gas 25.6%, Total 15%, and, Eni 10.4%. Construction for the project is by joint venture of Saipem, Chiyoda, and, Daewoo E&C.
Start date: uncertain as final agreement yet to be reached for expansion of PNG LNG processing site.
Location: Papua New Guinea
The Papua LNG project of Total seeks to deliver gas from wells in Papua New Guinea’s highlands close to those that are already producing for PNG LNG project. The intention is to process the gas at the PNG LNG processing plant (operated by Exxon) that would expand from two trains to five trains and so more than double production to around 15 million metric tonnes per year. While Total has achieved agreement for extraction of gas the government and Exxon continue to discuss terms for the expansion of the processing plant. (source: Natural Gas World, accessed 2020-01-03)
